Oh yes, weird husbands… no wonder ours are friends (and grew up in close proximity to each other!). I don’t think I could even describe in words the things John says or does, and I think I’m glad for that.

Ah yes… my husband has manipulated the toys and had them participating in odd events too!

Oh, and Randy also makes up songs a la Weird Al Yankovic. He’s actually very talented…

Weren’t those roses amazing? Of course they were hybrids so they didn’t have much scent, but they were perfect. I have one on my mantle that is still that beautiful, and it has been almost 2 weeks (he picked them up on Thursday before MD so they would open).

If you want me to send Eric your husbands # let me know! He can get on the “once a month plan” for happy wives club! hehehehe

Actually, he is in the city - someday when you and Anja are out and about, check him out! He is in the Historic Semple Mansion!

Excellent post. I need to be better about this. It seems when I get especially busy, good eating habits are the first to go. BAD, I know.

Now, all I need you to do is convince my husband that vegetables and fruits are delicious and will not, in fact, kill him. This would make PLANNING healthy meals a lot easier, since he has me beat as a picky eater.

Great post!!! I LOVE talking/reading/thinking/living nutrition…this was fun to read! Interesting that your real journey began relatively recently. It was in high school that I “decided” I wanted to be a nutritionist. In fact, I was pre-med for that very reason in college my freshman year, studying biology and chemistry. Well, then I became an art teacher instead! Hah. And art teacher who is passionate about nutrition! Also, thanks for all the links. Will for sure check them out!!

We don’t know each other but I came upon your blog by an internet search. So nice to see another Ron Paul supporter and that your husband is a delegate!!!

My daughters and I got to hear him speak and meet him in person as he signed our three books. (My husband couldn’t because of working.) The next day I got to push that button beside his name and I will write in his name this November if I need to.
