Adoption Fraud

This is a very scary, yet eye-opening article.  Be sure to click the link for the slide show on the bottom to read about real life examples before dismissing it as a hoax (as I might have).

  1. For the last year, we’ve been working on our dossier, and I just sent the last of our paperwork to our adoption agency today. We’re about to get in that 3- to 5-year-long line in China that was mentioned on slide 10. While the lengthy wait is discouraging, it does make me feel a little bit better that China seems to be working on its issues. As much as I want a child, I would never, ever want one that way.

What a heartbreaking story for everyone involved.
