Proof

that gifts don’t have to be expensive or intricate to be appreciated. My favorite gift this year: a little ornament vignette made for us by Anja. A tree in the snow with some berries. Love it. And LOVED her enthusiasm in giving it to us. What a joy!

  1. Now that one just make this Ozark Farm Chick’s toes twinkle and curl!!! That would be a grand activity when I have all eight grandkiddos here. I often hold what I call “Camp Grandma” and look for such things! Thank girl!!!

I just popped over from PW’s….ya just caught my attention :o)

Ya’ll have a wonderfully blessed holiday filled with love, laughter and fudge baby, heaps of rich delicious fudge!!!

  2. Adorable, and a great, easy idea for next year…hmmm…

Some of my favorite ornaments and decorations are from my kids’ preschool days. That ornament will make you smile for years to come, guaranteed. Those teachers are very creative, year after year. My mom still has the ornament I made in Kindergarten. Priceless stuff.

  3. I just stumbled upon your blog and am thoroughly enjoying the read. I went to college in Grand Forks and have a special place in my heart for anything North Dakota. You used to live there, it appears, and now you aren’t too far away! I must say…I don’t miss the cold. I now live in Phoenix and love not having to scrape icy windows for an hour each day. That aside, some of the nicest people I ever met were in North Dakota, doncha know?
